Thank you for all your support and trust in HotPotato. We received 136ETH and are glad to tell you that the HotPotato presale was successfully ended on 12:00 (UTC) February 8, 2021. The rebase mechanism of HotPotato decides that the project is born for and shall grow with the community.
The rebase mechanism of HotPotato is extremely unique and completely original and innovative. Even though there are not any reference and learning materials, we have been striving to realize it. We believe that originality and innovation are two significant stones in the DeFi industry. The prior innovators have achieved impressive success, such as Uniswap and YFI, which highly encourage us to be better. Plagiarism is easy, but the real innovation must endure a painful breaking-through process.
However, we have to admit that after four restless days, the unique rebase mechanism hasn’t been delivered smoothly on time: there are some parameters and bugs that need to be fixed, which you could check by reviewing the audit report on Certik website. In HotPotato, responsibility has always been of the utmost importance. We can’t bear any hidden trouble and risk in our product. Therefore, we have to announce that the planned listing time will be delayed for one to three weeks. To show our sincerity and responsibility for the community, we will public the following technical developing progress. In the meantime, considering the delay of the listing time may cause time cost of your investment, we could provide you with two options for your investments in the temporary hard time of HotPotato:
Solution 1: If you pursue short-time benefits, we may need to say sorry to you. You could apply to take back your invested ETH by replying to the whitelist email from one@hotpotato.one, entitling it with “Withdraw HP Investment”. We will check the correction of your identity and send the ETH back in three workdays through your transferring address.
Solution 2: If you are a warrior and would like to wait three weeks for our ready, you may will wait three weeks and overcome the obscure with us together. Your trust in the early-stage development of HotPotato will help us go further, moreover, it is also the meaning of angel investors. If so, we promise to give a higher reward and grant you the highest honor in the HotPotato system with NFT medals. With the NFT medals, you will enjoy a priority to receive higher rewards in the liquidity mining and community governance in the future.
